Say Hello to your newest AdSense ninja

       I don't believe in astronomy. Readings by people about how the universe and planetary bodies change lives and enhance winnings is something otherworldly strange to me; but a few months ago after I signed up for a personal astrologer on the internet because I was bored and wanted to see what it was all about I have come to understand that this may never be my forte. Best believe me when I say I thought it was a colossal joke because God knew and he still knows I won't part with a dime of my money for some palm reading or star calling or whatever it is those guys do. Forgive me if it comes off as if I am a hater of this real-life profession but I mean I am a Nigerian through and through and all that shenanigans ain't really for my persona. But you know how the mind works; it likes to attach itself to positivity so believe me brethren when I say this last week when my "astrologer" reached out to me again after 3 other messages just from that week I initially thought oh no! I need to unsubscribe from getting emails from this woman already but then I decided to see what she had to say again and it looked like this;
"I cannot hold my excitement! I see something very special is coming your way, my dear and I must tell you before it’s too late! I see you moving soon to a new location! My dear, you are going to soon find yourself in a new scenery, I see this potential shift in your life and it is going to turn the course of your everything! Oh, Helen, these new locations are going to present you different opportunities to the different areas of your life: your personal projects, relationships and even finances ......"
Who no like better thing? I didn't even delete it like I always do to other mails from her I just said to myself  "think on these good things".
       First thing when I woke up yesterday I saw a mail notification from AdSense and I swiped my phone to go look for my devotional. After my quiet time, I chanced upon the notification again and all I saw was congratulations your site is set to start earning from Google AdSense. I figured it was my eyes playing tricks because I am sorry as cliche as that may have sounded I was not prepared to see that. I know people who have blogged for years with mad traffic who haven't gotten verified to earn money from blogging so how do I get this big opportunity after just 8 months of inconsistently yapping about my life with just a few people caring to see what I have to say every time. I am still in awe and very stoked but this is only the first part of my testimony. I was later than usual to work yesterday because I had missed the bus and the ride I ordered to work yesterday couldn't figure out where my house was on time, so immediately I got to my workspace I powered my screen and tried to catch up on some React.js project I have been struggling with. My phone must have dinged 5 times or even more but I didn't care because I was trying to meet a deadline.

     On Monday this week I looked up writing jobs from a link my friend had sent me over the weekend and I applied to one that looked promising. I took a series of English language test the same day and I had some papers to turn in as part of my assessment from Monday to Wednesday ranging from algebra to economics to humanities, sociology, and everything that comes with the territory of writing papers. I shirked work-related stuff for a couple of days so I could meet up the timeline of submitting my tasks and I finally handed in the papers on Wednesday afternoon after struggling with the last econs task. I got a response that the recruiting team will get back to me in a few days so I was not expecting anything from them until next week. Unknown to me, my phone that had been dinging was getting mail notifications from the recruiter. Apparently, they got back to me way earlier than expected and I got the job as one of their freelance writers with an excellent grading report. Allow me to gloat if I don't make a living out of programming in the near future I can write my way to some big bucks. This was another great opportunity I got in the space of one week as my dear astrologer had mentioned and a part of me feels bad because I never really want to read anything she sends me (boy are they really long) but I am now associating all these good things with something she saw or read in my stars.
Now I am stuck with the dilemma of either believing in astronomical sciences affecting human destinies or thinking it sheer luck and a bit of hard work... What do you think? At this point, all I will do is count my blessings because even though I may not be an overly spiritual person I always think all good things come as a result of hard work and favor from God and these days I am trying to embrace the concept of believing that I deserve good things in life.

I hope you have a swell weekend and don't forget to work hard to get what you want.
P.S Tell a friend to tell a friend I need writers to make some awesome posts with. If you are ready for this or you know who is send a mail as soon as you can helendarmi.hd@gmail.com    CHEERS

    You have blessed me again, lovely write up. I love love every word, set up every thing๐Ÿ˜˜.
    Sorry for my Mia trait.
    For me, I think it is the plenty hardwork that finally paid off. By the grace of God.
    I like to see astronomy and sorts like this " even the devil was an angel and thus had/have powers". That being said astronomy just guessed and God is most powerful for me.
    Congratulations and๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿ˜˜
